We recommend using a 38 mm hose together with this rubber adapter (also known as a hose reducer), even if your device has a built-in 38 mm connection in addition to the 32 mm one. When you connect the hose to the 32 mm fitting through the adapter, an elastic rubber layer forms between the hose and the device. This improves sealing and reduces the risk of leaks. In short: even if your device supports a direct 38 mm connection, you’ll get a tighter, more reliable seal by connecting the 38 mm hose to the 32 mm fitting through the rubber adapter.

Many devices come with plastic or low-quality clamps, but these often lack the pressure and durability needed for a long-lasting, secure fit.

Avoid overtightening the clamp when the system is dry. First, fasten it with moderate pressure, then tighten further only after the circulation pump is running — just enough to stop any visible leak. This ensures a better seal and prevents damage to the fitting or the hose.
